Alireza Bidar

Alireza Bidar is a Senior Effects Technical Director building simulation-driven effects such as fire, smoke, water, magic and destruction for feature animation and visual effects productions.

A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), he began his career on live-action feature films before moving into animation, working at Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios and LAIKA on award-winning projects.

He is a member of the Visual Effects Society (VES) and the Animation Guild, and teaches part-time at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, mentoring the next generation of FX artists.
